Hi, my name is Claudia — or ☁️ cloud in Mandarin. I'm a product designer based in Montreal. I love creating solutions for people to say "this is what I needed!".
Currently, I am working on a Design System at Intact, bringing value to designers on product teams. I have experience working with companies at various stages from big corporations, startups to local businesses in Canada and the US.
With a background in communication design and experience in building products and design systems, I have a unique ability to communication with different design teams. I use this knowledge to take on a very collaborative approach in my work.
When I'm not doing design work, you'll catch me doodling, reading, strapped onto a camera or breaking a sweat at kickboxing classes. Ask my friends and family and they will remember me as the one taking long walks and going library hopping.
With my design practice, I like to focus on the people and understand what gets them moving every morning. My goal is to keep learning and create better solutions for the people I love.
Hi, my name is Claudia — or ☁️ cloud in Mandarin. I'm a product designer based in Montreal and Toronto. This year, I'm graduating from my undergrad in advertising and have been using my design thinking skills to explore experience design.
With a background in graphic design from Dawson College, I have been working on branding and web design for the past three years – freelancing with a design studio on clients such as local businesses, start-ups, and organizations in Toronto/Montreal and overseas.
Since the past year, I have been focusing more of my work on UI and UX related projects. To date, I have been working on translating a SaaS company's branding into a design system and working with them on the user experience.
When I'm not doing design work, photography and taking k-pop dance classes are my activities of choice. Nevertheless, my friends and family will always remember me as the one who likes taking walks and goes library hopping.
With my design practice, I like to focus on the people and understand what gets them moving every morning. Since covid has slowed down, I have been getting on with travelling and discovering new cities and their dwellers. In the past year, I have explored Paris, Vancouver, and Tokyo — yes my phone is now overloaded with pictures of food 🍣 and plants I can't find in Toronto 🌴🌸.
